Sonal Singh Chauhan is an Indian fashion model and actress. She has won several beauty contests and made her acting debut in the movie Jannat directed by Kunal Deshmukh.
Chauhan was born in muzaffarnagar. Her family hailed from famous Royal Chauhan Rajput of Mainpuri. Her father is a police inspector, and she has one elder brother and two sisters, one younger and one elder. She studied at Delhi Public School in Noida and then Philosophy honors at Gargi College in New Delhi.
She was crowned as the Miss World Tourism 2005 at Miri, Sarawak state of Malaysia. She is the first Indian to have claimed Miss World Tourism title. She has been a popular model of Delhi, and has appeared in a number of advertisement campaigns in print and electronic media. She appeared in the ads of brands like Ponds and Nokia. She also appeared on the cover page of FHM[citation needed] and The Man magazine. She walked the ramp as show stopper for jewellery brand YS18 at the India International Jewelry Week 2011.
She first appeared on screen in Himesh Reshammiya's album Aap Kaa Surroor. Kunal Deshmukh, director of Jannat, saw her at a restaurant in Mumbai. He asked for her contact number, and in a week she was on the floors shooting. In the movie she was paired opposite Roshan Chauhan. She has walked the ramp for many fashion shows and has modeled in print campaigns for brands like LG, Reliance CDMA, Hero Honda Passion, Nokia, Hindustan Times, Delhi Times, and many more.Soon after Jannat was released, V N Aditya called her after seeing her portfolio through her agent. Impressed by her, he signed her for Telugu movie Rainbow opposite Rahul. She is also acting in a Kannada movie Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu with Shivrajkumar,which is shot in 7 wonders of the world. In May–June 2012 she and Neil Nitin Mukesh were in Fiji for the shooting of their up-coming horror thriller 3G.

Suman Ranganathan born 26 July 1974 is an Indian model and actress who has starred in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films.

Suman Ranganath debut came with the award winning Kannada film Santa Shishunala Shareefa, in which she played the wife of Shareefa played by Sridhar. She was much appreciated for her acting in that small role. She got the next big commercial break after the then Kannada superstar Shankar Nag cast her in his directorial venture C.B.I. Shankar, in which he also acted in the title role. Opportunities knocked on her door after this.
She was praised by critics for her role in Fareb (1996), her first Bollywood film, which was an Indian adaptation of Unlawful Entry (1992). She was also appreciated for her scene-stealing performance as a spoiled Indian-American socialite in Aa Ab Laut Chalen (1999). However, her most noteworthy accomplishment in film came in 2003 with the release of the hit film Baghban, which went on to be nominated for four Filmfare Awards including Best Film.
Ranganath also was a part of a team of judges for the Mr India World 2007. She married Bunty Wallia in 2006, but the marriage ended in separation.
